The portrait she created of our Kids playing is not only art I would covet regardless of whose kids were in it (because of its vibrancy and style), but she expertly/gorgeously captured the feeling of a delicious moment of abandon and play. Now adults, we have the essence of Katie and Jake hanging on our wall -- how they carried their bodies, their personalities, and a sense of the thoughts that crossed their minds. It's magical.
