This is our artistic take on the classic and well loved zebra stripe. The pooling watercolour brushstrokes with gorgeous flowing lines were originally painted by Peta Sweetman. Each Zebra Stripe Black Lampshade is handcrafted in Brisbane by the Bowerbird Team with utmost care and attention to detail. We offer the very best quality and craftsmanship in our bespoke homewares.
This stylized animal print design is a fun change from a plain stripe. It excels as a complimentary “go with” pattern, adding character and dimension to interiors.
The lustrous fabric, printed in Brisbane Australia, has an appealing linen texture and luxurious feel. It’s perfectly suited for lamp shades as the tight weave and smooth finish are ideal for showcasing the artwork when the light is on or off.

Lampshade Fittings & Dimensions
SIZE & SHAPE | Drum Lampshade with straight sides and equal width top and bottom. The lampshade dimensions are listed as width x height in cm and (inches). Check out our lampshade dimension diagram to help choose the right size for you.
RING FITTING | We offer 2 ring size options, either a 29mm ring to fit an Australian Standard Lamp Fitting or a 42mm ring to fit a European Standard Lamp Fitting. Check out our Ring Size & Lamp Fitting diagram to help you choose the right ring size for you. If in doubt, select the larger European Standard Ring which comes with a complimentary 29mm ring adaptor. This ring adapter will allow you the flexibility of fitting both the European Standard Fitting and the Australian Standard Lamp Fitting.
If you require a different fitting, like a finial fitting, please contact us for a custom order.
RECESS | Our lampshades are made with the standard 5cm (2”) recess.The recess is the measurement from where your lampshade will sit on your lampholder to where you want the bottom of the lampshade to cover. Check out our Lampshade Dimensions diagram to help you check the recess measurement.

CARE
Your beautiful lampshade will last many years when properly cared for. Dust with a dry microfibre cloth and spot clean only. Do not spray with water or cleaning agents. Protect your Bloom Lampshade from fading by avoiding repeated exposure to direct sunlight. Do not expose your lampshade to high humidity, temperatures or grease by situating it in a bathroom or near a kitchen cooktop.
